We are looking for class 2 Drivers on behalf of a specialist delivery company based in Birmingham.
The Business: The client delivers IT, Medical, Scientific, and large printing equipment throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe. All deliveries involve positioning the goods where required, unpacking and removal of the outer packaging. Training is provided for this type of assignment. A successful candidate would expect to spend most of the time in the UK, but trips to Ireland and Europe crop up from time to time. Nights out run at approximately one per week but can increase according to workflow. Vehicles are well maintained and very high specification and have well-appointed high roof cabs. We have a settled and steadfast workforce with all staff having 10+ years’ service and many with much longer service up to 25+ years. Full uniform is provided and you will work in a friendly and relaxed environment.
The Person:
- Hold a valid Class 2 Licence, CPC and Digicard
- Friendly and outgoing
- Capable of manual handling as needed
- Flexible to take on Nights out
- Happy to deliver and work in Ireland / Europe as and when needed
Additional:
- £16.00 Ph or £17.93 Ph with rolled up Holiday pay
- Weekends Time and a half / Double time
- Guaranteed 50 Hours per week
- Permanent contract after 12 weeks completed
