Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join one of their clients based in Cannock. This role involves the fabrication and welding of metal components, primarily utilizing TIG/MIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality structures and assemblies. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and experience working with sheet metal and various welding processes. Duties * Perform TIG/MIG welding on various metals, including steel and aluminum, ensuring strong, clean welds that meet project specifications. * Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal using hand tools and power tools. * Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately to guide fabrication and welding tasks. * Use mechanical skills to set up and operate welding equipment and related machinery safely and efficiently. * Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with industry standards. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into larger structures or systems as required. Qualifications * Proven experience in TIG/MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. * Knowledge of sheet metal work, including cutting, bending, and forming techniques. * Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. * Familiarity with assembly processes and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Commitment to safety practices and quality workmanship in all tasks.
