Alliance Personnel are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our client's site.

MAIN DUTIES

To be responsible for ensuring our site remains safe, efficient, and fully operational. The role blends hands-on technical oversight with strategic planning, budget management, and team leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • To be responsible for creating maintenance plans for site engineers.
  • To be responsible for monitoring and ensuring maintenance plans are completed as expected.
  • To oversee the upkeep of all building systems, including electrical, plumbing, security, and fire safety.
  • To be responsible for ordering spare parts as requested by site engineers.
  • To be responsible for sourcing, organising, negotiating and supervising external contractors for specialized repairs and facility services.
  • To be responsible for site safety and security.
  • To be responsible for ensuring engineers attend any equipment breakdown to reduce production down time.
  • To be responsible for maintaining stock holding of spare equipment parts.
  • To be responsible for internal site inspections.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience managing a team of technicians.
  • Should have good administration skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to report issues to executive leadership.
  • Solid understanding of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and structural maintenance.
  • You understand that facility issues don’t always happen between 9 and 5 and are willing to be 'on-call' when necessary.
  • Computer literate.

SHIFT HOURS

40 hours per week. Monday to Friday – Day Shift.
