Alliance Personnel are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to join one of their clients based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving machinery across the facilities.
MAIN DUTIES
- To carry out any maintenance & repair work as required on site.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- To be responsible for any maintenance issues within the factory as directed.
- To conduct site planned maintenance inspections.
- To conduct all reasonable repairs on site equipment.
- To attend to any equipment breakdown needs to reduce production down time.
- To maintain stock holding of spare equipment parts.
- To carry out any other duties as and when required.
- To be responsible for weekly strip and clean-down of production equipment.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Must be responsible, committed and positive.
- Must have proven experience of working with steam generators, compressed air, electrics.
- Food manufacturing background is preferred.
OPERATION SHIFT HOURS
6:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday
WORKING HOURS
A flexible 8 hour shift (Monday to Friday) dependant on business needs.
SALARY
Upto £40,000 per annum
20 days holiday
