Alliance Personnel are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join one of our clients based in Birmingham.

JOB PURPOSE: To be responsible for writing and cooking new products based on product briefs.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • To write, cook and present new product recipes in preparation for management approval.
  • To be responsible for tweaking and fine-tuning products to meet business needs.
  • To research and develop new product concepts relevant to the business needs.
  • To be able to communicate tweaks in recipes so management can make decisions on product viability.
  • To be responsible for benchmarking existing products against competitors’ alternatives.
  • To be responsible for value engineering current products to meet an ever-demanding market.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Must be a trained chef to a senior level.
  • Must have experience of developing recipes and products ideally for a manufacturing business.
  • Must have a passion and interest in food.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be comfortable with handling and tasting all types of food.

HOURS OF WORK Flexible 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
