Cnc Programmer Setter Operator in Birmingham

ALLIANCE PERSONNEL are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter Operator to join our client based in OLDBURY.\\n\\nPay: £17.50- £19 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE\\n\\nHours: 07:00-16:00 Monday to Friday ( 42.5hrs per week ) OVERTIME AVAILABLE\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Set and operate Citizen Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC lathes (L20s, L32s – including LFV)\\n\\n * Set and operate Miyano Fixed Head CNC lathes with Fanuc controls\\n\\n * Program CNC machines for new jobs using existing G-code templates\\n\\n * Change tips, drills, tools, and inserts to maintain machine performance\\n\\n * Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications\\n\\n * Perform first-off inspections and measure parts using vernier calipers, micrometers, ring gauges, and shadowgraphs\\n\\n * Follow production job card system and maintain production documentation\\n\\n * Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow\\n\\nKey Skills & Experience:\\n\\n * Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter, CNC Operator, or Sliding Head Setter\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of Citizen sliding head or fixed head lathes and Miyano fixed head lathes\\n\\n * Competence with Fanuc controls and ability to edit and optimise G-code\\n\\n * Ability to work with tight tolerances across a variety of metals\\n\\n * Good understanding of precision engineering and lean manufacturing principles\\n\\n * Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment and following quality procedures\\n\\n * A methodical, detail-oriented approach and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
