We’re working with a fast-growing, specialist maritime civil engineering consultancy delivering projects across marinas, harbours, ports, and waterfront infrastructure internationally. They’re now looking for a Principal Maritime Civil Engineer to take ownership of technical delivery, influence strategy, and play a key role in scaling their marine capability.
You’ll lead engineering design, project delivery, and client engagement across a diverse portfolio of marine and coastal projects. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical excellence with commercial and client-facing responsibility.
- Engineering & Technical Leadership
- Lead design of maritime infrastructure (pontoons, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, flood defences, etc.)
- Drive quality, innovation, and practical engineering solutions
- Manage projects end-to-end (concept through to construction & handover)
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Support marine licensing and consenting processes
Degree in Civil, Structural, Marine, or Coastal Engineering
Strong experience in maritime/coastal engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis tools
Willingness to travel to project sites when required
Competitive salary (DOE) ~25 days annual leave + Christmas shutdown ~ Pension, life insurance & critical illness cover
