We’re working with a leading contractor in the residential infrastructure and utilities space, looking to hire a Project Engineer to support their expanding project portfolio across London, Surrey, Kent, and Hampshire. This is a hands-on, hybrid role split between site and office, offering excellent exposure to the full lifecycle of infrastructure and residential development projects.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in bridging on-site delivery with internal operations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting site inspections alongside local authorities
- Preparing technical reports and adoption documentation
- Reviewing drainage surveys and subcontractor quotations
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors on-site
- Managing stakeholder and resident communication
- Securing approvals and sign-offs from local authorities
- Providing project updates and resolving on-site issues
What We’re Looking For
- Experience or exposure to the housebuilding sector
- Understanding of civil engineering principles
- Knowledge of S38, S278, and S104 agreements
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- AutoCAD (desirable, not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
