We're working with a long-established and highly respected manufacturer supplying specialist chemical products globally. They are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager to take ownership of the E&I function on-site, leading a skilled team and playing a key role in both maintenance and project delivery within a COMAH-regulated environment.
The Role
- Leading and developing a team of 14 E&I engineers
- Overseeing all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities
- Delivering capital and improvement projects (design through to installation)
- Managing budgets and external contractors
- Driving a strong safety culture in a hazardous area environment
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external bodies (e.g. HSE)
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Instrumentation & Control within a process environment
- Experience in a COMAH / hazardous area / chemical / similar industry
- Strong working knowledge of PLC/HMI systems (ideally Allen-Bradley / Rockwell)
- Understanding of ATEX and functional safety
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant environment
