A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Digital Portal (CDE) Administrator to join a market-leading construction and engineering business. This role sits within the design team and focuses on the control, coordination, upload, download, and distribution of technical drawings and project documentation across online project portals and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and issuing technical drawings and project documentation
- Uploading and downloading documentation via Common Data Environments (CDEs) including Procore, Aconex, BIM 360 and Viewpoint
- Ensuring incoming drawings are the latest revisions and archiving superseded information correctly
- Issuing updated information to project teams and supply chain partners
- Maintaining naming conventions and folder structures across digital platforms
- Maintaining accurate project and document records within internal systems
- Carrying out quality assurance checks on uploaded files and metadata
- Supporting project teams with document control and associated administrative activities
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience working within the construction industry
- Confident working in a document-controlled environment
- Strong understanding of the importance of accurate and timely issue of drawing revisions
- Experience or confidence using online document portals and cloud storage systems
- Appreciation of construction documentation and terminology including RFIs, submittals and revision cycles
- Highly accurate and methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
