Alliance Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong reputation for quality and continued investment in its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have previous experience operating CNC machinery using Siemens control systems and working with metal components in a production environment.
The Role
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality metal components while ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating CNC machines using Siemens controls
- Loading and unloading metal components
- Monitoring machine performance and production output
- Conducting visual and dimensional quality checks
- Reading and following engineering drawings and work instructions
- Reporting any machine or quality issues to supervisors
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery
- Previous experience with Turnmill Hurco machines
- Preferable experience with DMG Mori machines
- Experience using Siemens control systems is essential
- Experience working with metal components
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and proactive approach to work
- Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
