The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing high-quality 3D parametric and fabrication models for MEP prefabrication, while ensuring seamless integration between SolidWorks and BIM platforms (Revit/Navisworks). This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and manufacturing – with a strong focus on efficiency, standardisation, and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for MEP systems
- Managing interoperability between SolidWorks and BIM environments
- Developing templates, libraries, and design standards
- Supporting and upskilling BIM teams on SolidWorks workflows
- Collaborating with prefabrication teams to optimise cost and material efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in SolidWorks (3D modelling, assemblies, fabrication drawings)
- Exposure to BIM environments (Revit, Navisworks, IFC workflows)
- Background in MEP, construction, or prefabrication
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Mechanical Engineering or related qualification
- SolidWorks certification (CSWP or higher)
- Experience with modular construction or prefabrication
