Due to significant expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Control Manager to join our Radiopharmacy Team.

If you are an experienced QC Manager/Supervisor with a proven track record in leading a successful team, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for.

The QC Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the QC department, including line management of the QC team, validation, method development, and ensuring compliance with GMP.

The QC department conducts analytical testing of radiopharmaceuticals using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and rTLC. Prior experience in a radiopharmaceutical QC environment is desirable. Extensive experience in GMP and Quality Management Systems is essential. Full training will be provided for suitable candidates with limited radiopharmacy experience, including radiation safety training.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.

We invite applications from experienced QC Managers and Supervisors. To be considered, you must hold a BSc/MSc in a related scientific discipline and have significant leadership experience.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree or higher in a relevant scientific field or equivalent radiopharmaceutical experience.

Beneficial Experience:

  • At least 5 years in radiopharmaceutical manufacture.
  • Managerial or supervisory experience with a strong performance record.
  • Experience in QC within a radiopharmaceutical setting is desirable.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of PrOFS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, personable.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and good listening skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently.
  • Leadership by example.
  • Good regulatory knowledge (GMP, Safety).
