The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated PET CT Radiographer/Technologist to join our teams at Freeman Hospital PET-CT Centre and South Tees PET-CT Centre.

The successful candidate will have HCPC or equivalent voluntary registration, background in Nuclear Medicine, preferably with PET-CT experience, and experience handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals. A high level of competency in cannulation is preferable.

A candidate with significant experience working as a Radiographer will also be considered; training in PET-CT can be provided.

You should have a patient-focused attitude to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. We seek a flexible, adaptable team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You may be working across both the Freeman Hospital PET-CT Centre and South Tees PET-CT Centre, and other sites in the region. Personal transportation is required.

Interviewing will continue throughout the advert; early application recommended, as the advert may close before the advertised date.

Competency programme in PET-CT will be undertaken to develop your knowledge and help you gain a full understanding of PET-CT.

Training will be delivered on the job, in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy.

You will also be required to IV cannulate patients. If you have no prior experience, Alliance Medical will provide full training.

  • IV Cannulation Certificate preferred (training will be provided)
  • Must be IT literate
  • Enhanced DBS clearance required
  • Flexibility to operate across multiple sites if required
  • CT experience desirable
