We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team at Ashford and St Peters.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report to the Unit Manager for the service but also have support from a Clinical Lead.

As a Radiographer at Alliance Medical, you will be responsible for adhering to protocol and procedures to produce high-quality images and provide an exceptional standard of patient and customer care. Our focus is on teamwork and working together to provide the best service in an environment that encourages learning, development, and support.

The ideal candidate will perform a variety of MRI examinations. This role is ideal for someone seeking to gain valuable experience and further develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible, patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. Building rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and maintaining high standards of care and service are essential.

The candidate should have 1-2 years of MRI experience, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. Experience in performing different types of MRI scans routinely is required.

Previous cannulation experience would be advantageous. IV Cannulation skills are essential, and training will be provided if needed.

Other requirements include evidence of clinical competency, a flexible approach to work, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Strong communication, negotiation skills, innovative thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail are also important. IT literacy and the ability to work under pressure are necessary. HCPC registration is required.
