We have a new opportunity for a PET-CT Radiographer/Technologist to join our PET-CT Mobiles team. You will ideally have a background in nuclear medicine and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, although this would be a great opportunity for a Radiographer to develop in this modality. Some experience in CT is also desirable but not essential for this role.

You will undertake a competency programme in PET-CT to develop your knowledge and help you gain a full understanding of PET-CT. Training will be delivered “On the Job” and in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy. You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCA’s, and administrative staff. The hours for this role are 36 hours per week Monday - Sunday. A company car is provided for this role. You will require a full driving licence for this role. We are looking for Radiographers with a minimum of 12 months of experience and must have PET-CT experience.

Requirements:
  • Evidence of Clinical competency
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills including time management
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to be innovative and forward thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Strong on attention to detail
  • Must be IT literate
