We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified scientific graduate to join the Alliance Medical Radiopharmacy (AMR) Graduate Scheme within one of our Radiopharmaceutical Production Units (RPUs). This 2‑year programme will provide extensive experience in radiopharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive training as a Production Radiochemist or a QC Radiochemist.
- Learn to operate cyclotrons and manufacture radiopharmaceuticals in a GMP environment when placed in the Production team.
- Perform analytical testing of radiopharmaceuticals using a wide range of techniques when placed in the QC team.
- Participate in GMP, radiation safety, and Quality Management Systems training.
- Work unsocial hours and shift schedules; 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in a scientific discipline.
- Graduated within the last 12 months or expected to graduate by the end of the academic year.
- Strong interest in radiopharmacy and willingness to undertake training in a GMP setting.
