We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced X‑Ray Radiographer to join our team at our Taunton Diagnostic Centre.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report into the Unit Manager for the service but also have support from an Imaging Manager.
Responsibilities
As a Radiographer you will be responsible for adhering to protocol and procedures to produce high quality images and an exceptional standard of patient and customer care. Your focus will be on teamwork and working together to provide the best service for all in an environment that encourages learning, development and support.
- Adhere to protocol and procedures to produce high‑quality images.
- Provide exceptional patient and customer care.
- Perform a wide variety of X‑Ray and CT examinations.
- Build rapport with patients and customers, both internal and external.
- Work as part of a dedicated team; report to the Unit Manager and support from the Imaging Manager.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have some experience and skills detailed below.
- 1–2 years of X‑Ray and CT experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fundamental IT literacy.
- Experience performing routine scans.
- Previous cannulation experience (advantage).
- CT experience (advantage).
- IV cannulation skills essential (training provided).
- Evidence of Clinical competency.
- HCPC registration.
- Flexible and patient‑focused attitude.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
- Aptitude for innovative thinking, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
