We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administration Manager to join our team. The Administration Manager will be responsible for the Administration teams, including Booking staff and Receptionists. This position offers a chance to further a career in administration. Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with the Unit Manager to achieve the Unit’s strategic objectives.
- Manage, engage, support, coach and develop the administrative team in line with company procedures to meet agreed goals.
- Maintain effective resourcing through staff planning, rostering, training, absence management and controls.
- Provide regular performance feedback and conduct 6‑monthly and annual appraisals with the Unit Manager.
- Plan, guide, organise and monitor daily administrative functions within the Unit.
- Handle patient and customer issues with the highest standard of care, discretion and sensitivity.
- Partner with the Unit Manager to secure financial performance and meet budgetary objectives.
- Highlight changes in referral trends that may impact revenue and throughput, and facilitate cost control or revenue improvement actions.
- Assist in building contact and relationships with existing and potential new referrers under contractual arrangements.
- Monitor trends in referrals to identify opportunities and address potential dissatisfaction.
- Address promptly any issues that could deter referrals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of contracts affecting imaging services, including terms, expiry dates and performance patterns.
- Support the Unit Manager in meeting strategic and operational reporting requirements.
- Continuously improve the efficiency of administrative operations through measurement and implementation of new ideas.
- Assist in the management and implementation of the Continuous Improvement model, new systems, procedures and staff training.
- Maintain strong relationships with the host site.
- Ensure KPI targets under Alliance Medical control for waiting and reporting times are met.
- Lead key changes for the team, contributing to and implementing new strategies using structured methods, including project management in partnership with other functions.
All responsibilities are performed in accordance with local, regional, UK and company strategies and governance protocols, and current regulatory standards. Effective administrative, patient, people, customer and change management skills are required.
