Due to significant expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Control Manager to join our Radiopharmacy Team. If you are an experienced QC Manager/Supervisor with a proven track record in leading a successful team, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for.
The QC Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the QC department, including line management of the QC team, validation and method development, and ensuring compliance with GMP. The QC department undertakes analytical testing of radiopharmaceuticals using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and rTLC. Prior experience in a radiopharmaceutical QC environment is desirable. Extensive experience in GMP and Quality Management Systems is essential. Full training will be provided for suitable candidates with limited radiopharmacy experience, including radiation safety training.
Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. We invite applications from experienced QC Managers and Supervisors. To be considered, you must hold a BSc/MSc in a related scientific discipline and have significant leadership experience.
To be successful, you should:
- Hold a degree or higher in a relevant scientific area or have equivalent radiopharmaceutical experience.
- Have a minimum of 5 years in radiopharmaceutical manufacture.
- Possess previous managerial or supervisory experience with a strong track record.
- Have experience in Quality Control within a radiopharmaceutical setting (desirable).
You should also demonstrate:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of PrOFS.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a personable approach.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and good listening skills.
