Overview

Sitting in the Global Markets Operations Market Solutions Fixed Income change team, the role requires a seasoned professional with Securities Operations or Middle office change experience to deliver a dynamic portfolio of process re-engineering, change initiatives and transformation programs. The successful candidate will have experience analysing and resolving highly complex operations problems and running a portfolio of change projects. The role is aligned to Operations Resiliency for the Securities & Clearing Settlement service. The position involves high level stakeholder exposure across Operations, Technology, Sales & Trading, Finance, and Risk; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Service restoral plan refresh management
  • Business resumption process testing management
  • Understanding of technology limitations and impact on processes
  • Analyses and resolution of highly complex operational problems
  • Requirements gathering and analysis: identify and document business needs; translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Stakeholder management: liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team; ensure common understanding of project objectives
  • Data analysis and reporting: analyze business data to identify trends; develop reports and dashboards to measure process performance
  • Solution design and validation: propose and evaluate solutions; conduct testing and validation of new processes or systems
  • Project management and training

  • Proven track record in operations or middle office transformation within the financial services industry
  • Deep understanding of the operational needs in the Fixed Income business
  • Ability to engage with senior business heads at a strategic level while understanding the detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to review and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels

  • Expertise in data analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
