This is a full-time, on-site role for a Work Based Tutor located in Horwich. The Work Based Tutor will be responsible for delivering apprenticeship training, developing lesson plans, providing tutorials, and assessing learners\’ progress. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate records of learners\’ achievements, offering mentoring, and adapting teaching techniques to meet diverse learning needs. The role requires close collaboration with employers and continuous feedback to ensure training meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver apprenticeship training
• Develop lesson plans
• Provide tutorials, assess learners\’ progress, and maintain accurate records of learners\’ achievements
• Offer mentoring and adapt teaching techniques to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate closely with employers and provide continuous feedback to ensure training meets industry standards

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering apprenticeship training and developing lesson plans.
• Ability to provide tutorials, assess learners\’ progress, and maintain accurate records.
• Strong mentoring skills and ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet diverse learning needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate closely with employers and provide continuous feedback.
• Relevant teaching or training qualifications, such as PTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent.
• Experience in the specific industry related to the apprenticeship training is a plus.
