We are looking for a hands-on, organised Empty Homes Lead Supervisor to join and support our Empty Homes Team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the service, directly supervising our trade operatives and supporting two Empty Homes Supervisors. You’ll help ensure the team performs well, meets our standards and delivers a great experience for customers. Your goal will be to make sure our empty homes are brought back up to standard safely, efficiently and cost-effectively and in line with Alliance Homes' Empty Homes Standard, Schedule of Rates and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the planning team to allocate operatives’ time effectively, helping us hit key KPIs and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections to verify work has been completed to the right standard.
- Motivate and support the team, helping them tackle problems and make good decisions so that homes are completed to a high standard.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience supervising in a trade or repairs environment.
- Strong communicator who can motivate and develop a team.
- Understanding of KPIs and turnaround targets, and competence with scheduling, including the use of scheduling software such as DRS.
- Good technical knowledge across multiple trades and solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
- An Asbestos Awareness qualification would be beneficial; training can be provided if not currently held.
- A full driving licence and the use of a company van.
We will provide you with a company van, so a full driving licence is essential.
