We are looking for a Lead Surveyor (Damp, Mould & Condensation) to join our team delivering high quality customer focussed services to our homes. Leading a team of Surveyors, this vital role will ensure Alliance's compliance with Awaab's Law by providing a full range of Building Surveying project management support. A key focus of this role will be any Damp and Mould cases within our properties.
Responsibilities
- Survey customer homes and communal spaces, working closely with residents and leaseholders.
- Take ownership of ensuring that repairs are managed end to end and address issues and complaints that arise before, during or after works.
- Carry out building diagnostics, including identification of root causes for damp and mould and asbestos.
- Provide clear reports on findings and lead the team with clear objectives and support.
- Manage asset management, leasehold, response repairs, empty homes and programmed works, using knowledge of the Schedule of rates.
Qualifications
- Experience in delivering response repairs, preferably in Social Housing.
- Formal building qualification (HND/HNC or Degree Equivalent).
- Proven line management experience and a track record of delivering large-scale building projects.
- Understanding of root cause and solutions for damp and mould, and ability to identify Asbestos.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in producing clear reports.
- Driving licence required with access to a car or other transport.
