Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Community Service Team as our next Housing Support Officer – Tenancy Sustainment.
Responsibilities
- Provide bespoke support to customers who cannot manage their tenancy.
- Support residents at risk of losing their tenancy, prevent potential homelessness and reduce anti‑social behaviour.
- Maximise rental income and build trust with customers until their tenancy is stable.
About you
- Knowledge of Housing and Tenancy law and awareness of local specialist services.
- Knowledge of Adult and Child Safeguarding and awareness of issues that contribute to tenancy failure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, good negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Person‑centred approach, patience and resilience to encourage engagement with complex needs.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
- Full driving licence required or alternative transport.
