Fixed Term until 31st March 2027. 37 hours per week. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced housing professional to join our team. You'll build strong relationships with customers, providing dedicated capacity to improve environmental standards across our neighbourhoods whilst also taking on other Tenancy management responsibilities.
You will have a particular focus on communal areas, cleaning arrangements, grounds maintenance, contracts, estate inspections, service charge reviews and customer satisfaction. This will directly support our Neighbourhood strategy themes of Clean, Green, Well Managed, Proud and Connected. You will also get the chance to strengthen data-led decision making by using customer insight and feedback to ensure resources are targeted to the areas of greatest need. This is a fantastic role for someone looking for that next step in their Housing Career and wanting to bring a fresh approach to a new position.
About You
You'll have experience in Housing Management, particularly and a good understanding of housing and environmental legislation, policy, and practice. You'll be a confident communicator who can explain tenancy responsibilities clearly and respond to customers and stakeholders with professionalism, tact, and empathy. Well organised and able to work independently, you'll be comfortable managing a varied workload and building effective relationships across teams to achieve positive outcomes for customers and communities.
The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check. As this role involves travelling across our communities, you'll need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle or an alternative means of transport that enables you to meet the requirements of the role.
We review applications as they are received and may close the vacancy early, so apply today if you're interested in helping us build stronger, safer communities across North Somerset.
If you are an internal candidate and interested in this as a secondment, please speak to your line manager before applying as we will need to seek approval from your Head of Area for your application to be considered.
