Summary Of Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of the pick/pack area, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The postholder ensures compliance with GDP, MHRA, and company requirements while maintaining high service levels for Alloga UK, its clients, and governing bodies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all direct reports adhere to company Health & Safety policies and standards.
- Take ownership of daily and weekly productivity targets, ensuring they are achieved.
- Deputise for the Assistant/Shift Manager during periods of absence.
- Ensure all dispatched orders are accompanied by accurate and complete documentation.
- Ensure cold‑chain processes are followed at all times.
- Maintain all warehouse operations in line with MHRA and GDP standards, including housekeeping.
- Drive continuous improvement across all contract operations.
- Record operational errors, provide feedback, and take corrective action where required.
- Ensure all staff receive sufficient training to optimise accuracy and productivity, and ensure SOP training is logged.
- Ensure operatives only use equipment for which they are trained.
- Support and monitor operatives in ongoing skills development.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and annual appraisals for all direct reports.
- Manage daily and weekly Cognos Planners accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with operatives and internal departments.
- Conduct return‑to‑work interviews in line with company procedure.
- Apply disciplinary procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
- Plan resources to meet commercial and operational needs.
- Deliver regular team briefings.
- Monitor staff appearance, ensuring correct uniform and ID pass usage.
- Report all accidents and near‑misses immediately to the Shift Manager and Health & Safety Manager.
- Complete departmental activities in line with company procedures and client requirements.
- Comply with all relevant SOPs and Training Manuals to meet GDP, GMP, and ISO requirements.

- Carry out any reasonable task as requested by management.

Education, Knowledge And Experience:
- Educated to GCSE standard
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Sound knowledge of GDP
- Good understanding of company policies and procedures
- Completion of relevant SOP training within 3 months
