Summary of Role
Join our fast-paced pharmaceutical supply chain and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of medicines to patients across the UK. As a Warehouse Operative, you will contribute to the efficient processing, picking, packing, and routing of healthcare products, helping to maintain the integrity and reliability of our supply chain while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Replenish stock within the automated warehouse system.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Work across manual picking belt, bulk, refrigerated, and secure storage areas.
- Route completed orders to the correct transport destinations.
- Ensure products are handled in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy when processing orders.
- Support the smooth operation of warehouse activities to meet service targets.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements. Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials. Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations. Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements. Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools. Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions. Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs. Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action. Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities. Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy. Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
