We are seeking a dedicated Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our Alliance Healthcare team. In this role, you will ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of assembled products and invoices to our customers, adhering to corporate guidelines and the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products.

Location: Candidates must reside within 10 miles of the ST3 postcode area but will be required to travel to Hinckley, Leicestershire for a driving assessment during interview stage.

Department: Transport

Working Hours: This role involves working 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday inclusive, on a 48-hour contract.

Salary: The salary for this position is Β£35,243.52 per annum.

Contract: 12 month fixed-term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and traffic signs, while considering other road users.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, including lights, brakes, and coolant levels.
  • Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents, or delays promptly.
  • Maintain the internal and external cleanliness of the vehicle.
  • Ensure sufficient fuel is available for daily tasks.
  • Secure the vehicle and its contents at all times.
  • Verify orders on the Epod Terminal and ensure they are loaded correctly.
  • Collect returned goods, mail, cheques, or delivery bins as instructed.
  • Handle damages or breakages promptly, following special procedures for HazChems.
  • Present a smart appearance and maintain good customer relations.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • A full driving license relevant to the vehicle being driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer care abilities.
  • Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable.
  • Experience in route planning.
