  • Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Goods In Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of the Goods In operation, ensuring products are received safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll lead a team of Goods In Operatives and Section Leaders, driving productivity, compliance, and continuous improvement across the department. You'll also deputise for the Shift Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the Goods In team to achieve operational targets and service levels.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy, driving continuous improvement where required.
  • Ensure stock is received and processed accurately within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain compliance with GDP, MHRA, and other relevant industry standards.
  • Manage team performance, attendance, training, and development.
  • Plan resources effectively to meet operational demands.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and maintain clear communication across departments.
  • Support investigations into errors and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards throughout the department.

About You

  • Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Good understanding of GDP and regulated warehouse environments.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
  • PC literate with good administration skills.
