Deliver a best-in-class technical service for integration, bespoke integration development, and low-code solutions, working with product leads in the wider IT team to deliver solutions that respond to business demands. Provide architectural expertise to define and manage the technical roadmap for integration platforms covering PMR, SOC, EDI and custom APIs along with how to use low-code solutions for enterprise use cases.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical services for integration platforms, bespoke integration development, and low-code solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with product leads and cross-functional IT teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust integration solutions.
- Provide architectural expertise to define and manage the technical roadmap for integration platforms, including PMR, SOC, EDI and custom APIs.
- Ensure integration platforms are optimized for performance, scalability, and security, supporting current and future business requirements.
- Develop and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for integration platforms and low-code solutions to ensure consistency, security, and compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team, ensuring the adoption of industry best practices.
- Manage the resolution of 3rd line support tickets and deliver standard service requests within SLA.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required
- Degree level education in business administration, accounting, computer sciences or similar vocations.
- Extensive experience related and progressively responsible experience designing, building, testing and deploying enterprise system solutions.
- Considerable experience delivering services within a large FTSE 100 or Fortune 500 company.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Experience managing a small team of developers to drive demand for improved automation, speed and quality.
- Integration development experience using integration tools such as IBM MQ, Infor Cloverleaf, SAP PI/PO, Mulesoft and TrueCommerce.
- Experience in Python development, particularly for integration solutions and API development.
- Familiarity with cloud-native integration solutions and services (e.g., Azure Integration Services, AWS API Gateway).
- Knowledge and understanding of software development and testing methodologies; experience working with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) or Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns and applications.
- Knowledge of AD, LDAP, Federated AD, SSO and security protocols in supporting the configuration of interfaces.
Desirable Skills
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Experience in managing organizational change related to the adoption of new integration platforms or low-code technologies.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, including branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development).
