This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. Are you an experienced and reliable driver seeking a challenging role as a Multi‑Drop Van Driver? We are hiring for the position of Multi‑Drop Van Driver to join our dynamic fleet and transport team. As a crucial member, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely completing upwards of 50 drops per day using a 3.5‑tonne van.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5‑tonne van to complete assigned daily pharmaceutical deliveries.
- Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made and any other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team to relay updates or address any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
- Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is in a roadworthy condition.
- Carry out upwards of 50 high‑volume deliveries per day.
- Lifting tote bins weighing up to 25 kg is required.
Qualifications
- Valid manual driver’s licence with no more than 3 live points on the licence.
- Proven experience as a Multi‑Drop Van Driver or a similar role.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and knowledge of assigned delivery areas/routes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Manual handling duties may be required; reasonable adjustments will not be made for applicants unable to perform such duties.
