We are seeking a Night Shift Manager to lead and optimise warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and strong people management. You will oversee all aspects of the night shift, drive performance against KPIs, and maintain high operational and compliance standards within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage overall night shift operations and lead the team to deliver high performance
  • Maximise shift efficiency and ensure accurate loading of the delivery fleet
  • Control labour and overhead costs in line with agreed targets
  • Maintain high operating standards in line with company, customer and legislative requirements
  • Monitor productivity and KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GDP requirements and health and safety standards
  • Lead, coach and motivate the team through effective communication and performance management
  • Ensure the department meets all Health and Safety requirements and direct reports are aware of their responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for all areas of people management for direct reports including coaching, nurturing talent and motivating the team through effective leadership
  • Provide coaching and guidance to colleagues in areas of responsibility
  • Work closely with management colleagues to drive efficiencies across the Service Centre promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Skills and Knowledge
  • Proven experience managing warehouse or logistics operations, ideally on night shifts
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience working to KPIs and driving operational performance
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and SOP adherence
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage costs and improve efficiencies
  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements
Desirable
  • Experience within pharmaceutical or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
