Location: Chessington

Working Pattern: 08:00‑16:30 Monday to Friday (40 hours)

Summary: To accurately sort and distribute orders into correct van routes and areas on the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately checking orders/totes from drop sheets, paying special attention to route.
  • Recording and notifying line manager of all missing orders/totes.
  • Allocating orders/totes to pallet/route cage.
  • Prioritising orders/totes by route departure time.
  • Loading vehicles as instructed, ensuring bins, boxes, bags are loaded safely.
  • Ensuring all loads are secure and following correct load‑security processes.
  • Ensuring pallets and cages are stored correctly and items stacked safely.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Completing any other tasks required by management.
  • Sorting empty totes correctly.
  • Safely transferring orders to loading bays.
  • Re‑picking missing orders where relevant.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Visual accuracy, numeracy, and communication proficiency.
  • Commitment to a hazard‑free, world‑class health and safety environment.
  • Previous warehouse experience highly desirable.
  • Experience driving a counterbalance forklift truck desirable.
