- Job Purpose
Responsible for carrying out any role required within the warehouse environment, including picking and packing of orders in the automated system, medical bulk area, fridge area and secure areas.
May also perform transport tasks if required.
All staff must maintain Good Distribution Practice for Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) and complete relevant training.
- Key Accountabilities
- Accurately assemble items from pick documentation and verify quantity picked.
- Ensure items are packed in appropriate bins/packaging and report any damage to the line team leader.
- Report any pick face errors or visible errors in the warehouse to the line team leader immediately.
- Inform the line team leader of any problems with a particular line or area.
- Assemble hospital orders and submit to the hospital checker for accuracy verification.
- Assemble special check orders and submit to the special checker for accuracy verification.
- Pick medical bulk, fridge, and secure area orders according to specific criteria covered in training.
- Respond immediately to any errors, unusual quantities, or suspected/actual issues relating to an order.
- Report any transport-related issues to the line team leader.
- Maintain awareness of health and safety procedures at all times.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy, and free of rubbish.
