The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
To ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.
- Perform a daily check to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy including lights, brakes, coolant, etc.
- Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
- Maintain the internal and external appearance of the vehicle, keeping it clean.
- Ensure sufficient fuel for the day's work.
- Maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
- Check all orders on drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded onto the vehicle.
- Collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and ensure safe return to the branch as instructed by branch management.
- Deal with damages/breakages promptly and correctly, following special procedures for HazChems.
- Maintain a smart appearance.
- Help maintain good customer relations.
- Perform other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by Management.
- Meet all Health & Safety requirements.
Skills & Knowledge (Required)
- A full driving licence relevant to the vehicle being driven.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer care.
- Intermediate numeracy and literacy.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience of multi‑drop delivery driving.
- Route planning experience.
