Salary: £13.86 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday 6.00pm to 2.30am (39 hrs per week)
Job Purpose
- To drive the daily performance of operatives, achieve budgeted productivity and quality targets within a warehouse operation in line with departmental KPIs.
- To implement the daily staffing plan, ensuring optimum operational output at all times, escalating any areas of concern immediately to the Line Manager.
- To deliver training on operational procedures and processes (including Good Distribution Practice and Standard Operating Practice) with a particular focus on housekeeping.
- To promote and manage our IIP culture, through team briefing, training, and where applicable 1:1’s and return to work processes.
- To support the Outbound Manager in achieving departmental and company objectives.
- To carry out reasonable requests as determined by the Service Centre Management Team, promoting and supporting company initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics or a related field.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking, order management, and optimisation.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced working environment.
- Outstanding organisation and a high level of accuracy in record‑keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional departments.
- Excellent customer care, intermediate numeracy, time management and organisational skills.
