- Monday & Friday: 17:30-23:00
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 17:30 - 23:30
Summary of Role
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Porter to join our busy operation in Coatbridge. This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth running of the warehouse by ensuring stock is moved, loaded and organised safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Move stock safely throughout the warehouse and loading areas
- Prepare goods for dispatch and delivery
- Support the receipt and checking of incoming deliveries
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with stock movement and general warehouse duties
- Work as part of a team to ensure operational targets are achieved
Skills and Knowledge
- Previous warehouse, porter or logistics experience is beneficial
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
