JOB PURPOSE To provide reactive Plumbing and Gas repairs in both occupied and void properties. The post holder will carry out tasks such as but not limited to: carrying out Gas Safety inspections and issuing safety certificates, responding to diagnose, and carrying out repairs to domestic plumbing systems where required. Assess issues and repairs and provide a materials list to address the same in the most cost-effective manner. To work effectively with other trades and ultimately support the Operations Manager to ensure the effective delivery of the service to our stakeholders.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership To carry out their duties in a safe and proper manner. To always act in the best interests of the organisation, lead by example and role model behaviours which support the company’s values. To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction at all times. To participate in regular performance reviews and demonstrate a commitment to developing their professional learning and personal growth.
  • Management To effectively manage own diary and customer focused responsibilities to arrive at place of work on time and in line with KPI’s. Ensure Company vehicles are maintained and kept clean, tidy and in a roadworthy condition. To maintain appropriate levels of van stock and materials required to ensure the smooth operations of our service. To effectively read drawings and repairs schedules and interpret the same. To maintain positive working relationships with all staff and customers. To manage all resources effectively and efficiently which contribute towards the overall competitiveness of the business. To embrace new business opportunities. Ensure continuous review and self-development, maintain an accurate Continuous Personal Learning plan. To embrace technology, respectfully challenge current practice and introduce smarter ways of working to boost productivity.
  • Generic To work collaboratively with all staff within the organisation. To liaise with external stakeholders where appropriate. To comply fully with all health, safety and environmental requirements. To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested.
