Electronics Test and Development Technician We are a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of intelligent management systems for keys and equipment. From an idea conceived nearly 30 years old for the airline industry, today we supply to some of the world’s largest retailers including Walmart and Ikea. We are continuing to grow our R and D team and now have a requirement for a Electronics Technician who will form an integral part of the team. This position assumes responsibility for support requests, rejects and returns which have been escalated to R and D for root cause analysis. A crucial role utilising test, measurement and inspection equipment to fault find and diagnose, this position supports the department by providing valuable advanced technical support. Additional duties include QA testing, designing tests and experiments and the reporting of findings to the team. What are we looking for? A natural interest in all thing electronics and hardware. Several years’ experience in a role using test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi meters Ability to read and understand schematics, engineering drawings and PCB layouts Good soldering skills Excellent documentation and communication skills.
