About the Role
NAPA Racing UK is looking for a highly organised, proactive, and creative Marketing Executive to support our fast‑paced motorsport marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves motorsport, and can balance hands‑on content creation with strong planning and coordination skills. You’ll play a key part in delivering the team’s marketing activity across the season supporting social media output, event activation, content capture, partner engagement, and day‑to‑day campaign delivery. A passion for motorsport and the ability to represent the brand confidently at live events is essential as you will attend and support the marketing and retail team at each of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) events.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Support & Activation
- Attend a minimum of 10 BTCC race weekends per calendar year, supporting the team with content capture, partner obligations, and fan engagement.
- Assist with event planning, logistics, and on‑site coordination to ensure smooth delivery of marketing activities.
- Represent NAPA Racing UK professionally at all events, working closely with drivers, partners, and the wider team.
- Support the management of race weekend ticket allocation and VIP guest experience.
- Social Media & Content Creation
- Support the planning, scheduling, and publishing of content across all NAPA Racing UK social media channels.
- Create engaging content including posts, reels, stories, graphics, and short‑form video.
- Work with photographers, videographers, and internal teams to ensure consistent brand identity and tone of voice.
- Monitor social performance and contribute ideas to grow reach, engagement, and fan loyalty.
- Marketing Coordination
- Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns, partner activations, and seasonal promotions.
- Creative direction for supporting marketing collateral.
- Maintain marketing calendars, deadlines, and asset libraries with strong organisational discipline.
- Liaise with suppliers, partners, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Support the creation of reports, presentations, and post‑event summaries.
- Create a closer connection with NAPA Auto Parts to NAPA Racing.
- Merchandise Product Management
- Support the retail store team at each race weekend.
- Support the marketing team on the ongoing ordering and stock management of NAPA Racing UK merchandise.
- Look at ways to maximise the brand across new and existing merchandise.
- Identify new merchandise opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Experience in social media planning, scheduling, and content creation.
- Confident communicator with a professional approach at events and in partner‑facing situations.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Ability to work weekends and travel regularly throughout the BTCC season.
- Experience in motorsport, automotive, or sports marketing is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong IT skills and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with WordPress websites and Canva‑style design tools is preferable.
- Marketing or Social Media Marketing experience to degree level ideal not essential.
