Alliance ABA is a mission-based organization devoted to supporting children with Autism and ADHD in an In-Home setting. We are looking for dedicated team members to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism in Dumfries/Stafford/Woodbridge, VA. Service hours are during evenings and weekends. We offer free training to obtain your Registered Behavior Technician Certificate, a fun working environment, flexibility, high starting pay, a consistent schedule, and a highly supportive training program. Candidate should have at least one year of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 Home-based ABA services for youth under the age of 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Provide behavior coaching to parents and support client’s caregivers through a variety of methods
- Collaborate with other professionals from various agencies in the community including: social services, schools, physicians, etc.
- Participate in training and clinical supervision that focus on integrating ABA with other effective therapeutic strategies
- Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to maximize effectiveness of interventions as delineated in client’s treatment plans
- Implementation of behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst
- Collection of data and completion of treatment notes as required
Requirements
- HS diploma required
- Availability to work evenings and 9a-3p on weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children; experience working with children who have developmental disabilities/Autism preferred
- Experience with interventions to address maladaptive behaviors
- Must have an RBT certification or pass the RBT training curriculum and exam within the first 90 days of employment
