Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize novel optical systems for diverse projects.
  • Conduct experimental implementation and testing of new optical designs.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, industry partners, suppliers, and customers to drive innovation.
  • Contribute to intellectual property development, including participating in patent writing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with developing free-space optics experiments.
  • Strong knowledge of geometrical and ray optics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in head-mounted displays (HMDs) or head-up displays (HUDs).
  • Experience with optical design tools such as Ansys Speos, Ansys Lumerical, Ansys Zemax or similar software.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
