AllFloors of Oxfordshire are seeking a skilled and experienced carpet & floor fitter to join our expanding team in Witney, Oxfordshire. This will involve working in commercial and domestic properties, fitting carpet, LVT, vinyl, laminate and wet room floors. You will be working closely with our team ensuring high-quality flooring solutions that meet our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, measure, and prepare subfloors for installation
- Install all types of flooring, including carpet, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), sheet vinyl, laminate, and other types of flooring to meet the suppliers' specifications and industry standards
- Lay and fit different flooring to ensure a smooth & even finish
- Work with various adhesives, underlay, latex, and other materials for a successful installation
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment aligning with the company health and safety policies
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License (required)
- Floor Fitting: 2 years (preferred)
- Experience working with various types of flooring including LVT, Vinyl, Wood, Laminate and Carpet (preferred, however training is available)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: Good rates of pay offered depending on experience.
Job Type: Full Time Contract
Shift and schedule: Overtime / Monday to Friday / Weekend availability
