Responsibilities
- Inspire and motivate students in individual cello lessons from beginner to advanced level, across Years 7 to 13 (ages 11 to 18).
- Teach up to two days per week with flexible scheduling; hours have the scope to grow and there is the possibility to include chamber music coaching for candidates with relevant experience.
- Work in a self-employed capacity with the current suggested hourly rate of £51.13 per hour for the 2025/26 academic year.
Requirements / Qualities
- Well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher who can inspire and motivate students in cello performance.
- Ability to contribute to the music department beyond individual lessons, such as chamber music coaching where applicable.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
