An ability to teach computing at Key Stage 3 would be an advantage but is certainly not required. Above all, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and well-qualified, with a genuine passion for Maths and for learning and an ability to convey this to pupils.

A natural empathy and pastoral instinct as well as the ability to motivate and inspire (both students and teachers) is vital, as is being able to work as part of a strong team.

Interviews are planned for Friday 13 February. All staff enjoy access to superb facilities and resources, as well as a variety of great benefits which are detailed in our Working at Alleyn's brochure.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss an application, you are very welcome to contact the HR Department (jobs@alleyns.org.uk, 020 8299 8009).

Please note that suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date, and we reserve the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Alleyn's is an Equal Opportunities employer. Alleyn's welcomes applications from all applicants who meet the requirements for the position, however we are especially keen to receive applications from those in minority groups for which the School is currently underrepresented.
