Alleyn’s School is seeking to appoint a Head of Catering Operations to lead and oversee all catering services across the School. The post holder will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality lunch provision for approximately 1,450 pupils aged four to eighteen. In addition, the role encompasses the management of staff dining, pre and post‑school catering for pupils, and extensive support for internal School events, from working lunches and food platters to formal VIP dining experiences, alongside contributing to the development of our private events business.
The successful candidate will lead on menu development, the effective operation of all kitchen services, and the creation of robust staffing models and processes that support the School’s ambitions, with a strong focus on innovation, technology, and sustainability. This is a full‑time, year‑round position. Due to the nature of the post, a flexible approach to working hours is essential.
