Alleyn's School are seeking a Graduate Director in Residence to join our lively and highly creative Drama department for one academic year. This position would particularly suit a university graduate who is considering a career in theatre or teaching Drama.
As a part-time, term-time position it would work particularly well within a portfolio career and there will be some flexibility to allow for shaping work around ongoing work in the industry with the expectation that this experience would in turn be folded back into the work of the Graduate Director in Residence at Alleyn’s.
The successful applicant will be an excellent theatre-maker, likely with strong acting and/or directing and production skills. They will assist in the delivery of co-curricular drama and provide practical support for A-level and GCSE students.
