Alleyn’s Oakfield is seeking to appoint an excellent and committed Deputy Head (Pastoral) and Class Teacher to join us from 7 January 2027. This is a key strategic leadership role, responsible for leading the pastoral care of children such that safeguarding and pupil wellbeing are put at the forefront of school life. The postholder leads the pastoral life of the School, ensuring all pupils are able to flourish and fulfil their potential in a school where their wellbeing is of utmost importance.
They set the pastoral tone in the School, set standards for excellence in the provision of pastoral care and are in touch with the most appropriate, innovative and inspiring developments to support pupil wellbeing. This is a full‑time, permanent position, offered on our highly competitive salary scale, which reflects experience and the responsibilities of the role.
