Required for September 2026 or earlier, until 31.08.2027. We wish to appoint a lively and talented teacher of English at this popular and successful 13–18 academy. The successful applicant will be expected to teach across the whole‑ability range, GCSE and A Level. They will join an excellent faculty where attainment and progress at KS4 is very good. We have significant numbers of students who continue to study both English Language and Literature at A Level.
Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and those who are newly qualified. We are looking for a teacher with infectious enthusiasm who is able to communicate clearly, is sensitive to the needs of young adults and has the ability to use initiative and vision to encourage others. We expect the person to work as part of a team and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
